Living with your jewellery

Store pieces dry and separately — stones scratch metal, and diamonds scratch other stones. Keep them away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products; a soft cloth is all they need. Pearls and mother-of-pearl are the most delicate; lapis lazuli and malachite dislike chemicals and ultrasonic cleaning.

Clean & check-up

After the first year, pieces bought or commissioned from me get a complimentary clean and check-up. Anything that worries you before then — bring it in.

Rhodium replating

White gold is a yellow metal plated with rhodium, and the plating wears. From CHF 150 per ring, about a week — rings I made and rings I didn't.

Resizing

Most rings can be resized; some designs, like full eternity bands, can't. Every bespoke ring includes a complimentary resizing.

A new life

Inherited, broken or never worn — pieces can often be transformed, stones reset, gold reused where structurally suitable.
