Harmonia Sky Ring
An oval Swiss blue topaz at the centre, with a pear-cut diamond on each side, in 18ct yellow gold.
Swiss blue is bright and cool, and even all the way through the stone.
Yellow gold warms it from underneath, and the band tapers softly so the weight stays low.
Named for Harmonia, goddess of concord — and for the sky the stone takes its colour from.
MATERIALS
Recycled gold. Gold can be melted and reshaped again and again, and it keeps its quality each time. That is why I work in it.
18ct gold is the benchmark for fine jewellery, prized for its rich, warm yellow and its classic character.
In this design I used:
- Swiss Blue Topaz 7.1 x 8.9 mm
- Two Pear Shape Lab Grown Diamonds 3 x 5 mm
